Tae Shin

Tae Shin’s practice areas stem from his extensive knowledge in federal tax and business law matters.  Tae’s previous experiences as a small business owner and combat decorated Army officer combined with his accounting, business and tax law background have proven to be invaluable as he guides small to large businesses in matters such as business succession planning, estate planning, deferred compensation, corporate and partnership tax law, international tax law, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, international trade issues, franchises and a host of other legal issues.  Tae also represents a number of non-profit organizations with federal tax matters and corporate matters.

Tae has represented real estate developers in navigating legal pitfalls associated with federal tax issues as well as financing issues.  Tae has successfully represented small businesses in securing financing from both institutional lenders as well as investors.  

Tae has extensive experience representing businesses in all phases of operations, from startup to acquisition to exit planning.  As a trusted advisor to his clients, Tae has assisted numerous business clients through a variety of corporate legal issues. 

As an infantry officer and U.S. Army Ranger, Tae understands from experience the importance of planning and strategy to achieve a desired outcome.  Tenacity and the ability to analyze and solve problems are part of the skill sets Tae learned as a military officer and those skill sets have enabled Tae to serve his clients with high quality legal advice.

In the community, Tae is a relentless advocate for our military veterans and serves as a director of Camaraderie Foundation, Inc.  Tae is also a board member and Vice President of External Affairs of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce.  Tae serves as a director and treasurer of the Beacon Network, a public charity whose purpose is to further diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
